Collective Care & Power Classes

Strengthening our sense of Community, nurturing resilience, and reclaiming power

BOOK US NOW

Why Collective Care & Power Matter

In times of systemic injustice and political crises activism demands more than just passion and dedication — it requires sustainable strategies for care, healing, and empowerment. Too often, movements struggle with exhaustion, internal conflicts, and the weight of oppressive structures. Too often, activists and organizations push for change at the cost of their own well-being.

  • How do we continue fighting for justice when the weight of the world feels unbearable and we feel exhausted, helpless and disconnected from our own purpose?
  • How do we sustain ourselves and our movements in the face of systemic oppression, burnout culture, and political repression and violence?
  • How do we prevent internal conflicts going unaddressed, care work being undervalued, and collective strength eroding under the pressure of urgency.

Our Collective Care & Power Classes help activists, organizers, and communities build spaces where care and power go hand in hand. We address the hidden wounds of activism — because sustainable change starts from within.

What Will You Learn

These classes are not about self-care in isolation — they are about building interdependent movements that care and power in tandem. We use a mix of storytelling, somatic exercises, group reflections, and creative practices — because political change starts from within. You’ll leave with concrete
tools to strengthen both yourself and your community.

Exploring the intersection of collective care, power, and political resistance

Identifying and dismantling internalized oppression and its impact on movements

Developing conflict transformation strategies that strengthen solidarity

Cultivating emotional resilience and sustainable and regenerative activism practices

Building WELCOMING SPACES & networks of accountability, support, and collective empowerment

Reimagining power as something we create together, not something we take alone

»Movements have narratives. They tell stories, because they are not just about rearranging economics and politics. They also rearrange meaning. And they are not just about redistributing the goods. They are about figuring out what is good.«

Listen to Our Participants & Partners

We always say that »we make the road by walking«, even more, but it’s the voices of those we walk with that show us that our work actually makes of difference in people’s personal and political lives.

»This class gave me tools to care for myself without guilt — and to support my community in ways that feel sustainable. It was a game-changer for me and my community.«

»I never realized how much internalized oppression was shaping our movement. The facilitators created a space of healing and power. I feel re-energized.«

EVA LESTER
Senior Supervisors

»Finally, a space where care and resistance coexist. I left with strategies, hope, and a new sense of collective strength. I went through a moment of crisis that is gone now.«
